Incident Overview

The Consalus Fire was reported on 6/30 and was started by lightning. It is located above Consalus Creek, near the Pelke Divide, in Pend Oreille County, WA and burning in heavy dead and down timber. A Type 3 team assumed command of the fire at 6:00 AM on 7/9. Management of the fire was handed back to the local area as a Type 4 incident on 8/1.
