Incident Description
The first priority is firefighter and public safety. Secondly, resources are monitoring the fire and assessing point protection needs for the Salmo Mt. Lookout and communications tower.

Air resources are on-scene. For the safety of our aerial resources and firefighters on the ground, please do not fly unmanned aircraft (drones) in the fire vicinity. If you fly, we can't.
